Get Involved

Below is a list of various groups inside St. Paul United Church of Christ. As we finish our Visioning and long range planning this will be updated to include committee information. Our Calendar also has more events available.

MusicSt. Paul Bell Choir

St. Paul UCC has two choirs who take turns in providing music for the services every Sunday. The  handmade bells provide a different sound than many machine made bells.

Our singing choir has a varying number of members. Also directed by Vivian they are accompanied by Gayle Cooper on the piano.

Both groups are always looking for new members and if you are interested you may contact Vivian Gerrietts.

J.O.Y. (Jesus, Others, You) Circle

A women’s organization formed many years ago, which continues its work of service to others in the name of Jesus. It is open to all women of the church, and new members are always welcome. The group meets at 1:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month in the Conference Room for dessert, fellowship, program, and service projects. Assembling sewing kits for people in need in foreign counties and making layettes for new mothers in the Pekin area are examples.  They also support Christian Civic Outreach and  the Salvation Army with monetary contributions.

SPY (St. Paul Youth)

A group for the high school age youth to meet, and grow in Christ. They plan a Turkey dinner each year, go on mission trips each summer, and have a lock-in at the church.

Senior Fellowship

The Senior Fellowship meets the 1st Thursday of the month (except January) in the Friendship Room at noon for lunch and a program.  The programs are anywhere from fire prevention to just playing cards.  Anyone is welcome to attend.
